cant run the auto install

When i put the cd in, i click on "intall software & maps" i get "Can't open file E:\runcd.exe access denied"

I tried also running the autorun as administrator.

when i try openinig runcd manually, it says its not a valid win32 application.

any help would be good thanks

Hmm, cuold be an issue with Windows installer or a suspect disc. Perhaps try:

1) Download the latest setup file to install the software from http://www.memory-map.co.nz/support/downloads/
2) Try running the install again - it should move on to the map install stage. If not you could also manually copy & paste the maps into C:/Maps.

Failing that please send me a message & we'll get a replacement disc to you.

I have the same problem cannot run auto install , I get the message 'tool for creating auto disc is not responding'. I have updated the software as advised above but still no luck. I did manage to install the topo4 maps, by luck of open this that run as administrator, they have saved as an img. file and cannot be opened with any program, garmin , mem-map or any other program on my computer.
I cannot open the map files on the disc, most times I try to do anything with the Topo4 installation the computer freezes & I have to force a shutdown and restart, although I can install the demo .
HELP PLEASE !!

The Topo4GPS files are intended for use on a Garmin GPS or, if you wish to use them on your PC, with Garmin's "Mapsource" (aka "Trip & Waypoint Manager") - not with Memory-Map. So to use Topo4GPS maps on your PC you'll need to grab yourself a copy of Mapsource from Garmin.
