Multiple Licences ????

Postby WAS » Thu Mar 19, 2009 8:35 pm

Several years ago I purchased MMNZ-T3 and more recently MMNZ-T8 - How many licences do I have? Does this entitle me to activate all the maps on 3 different computers?

The software licence allows you to install on two PCs that you own and two Mobile Devices. If you get a new PC you can Migrate the licence from the old to the new.

That doesn't really answer the question. When I purchased MMNZ-T3, I had a licence to run it on two different computers. Now that I've purchased MMNZ-T8, I would claim I have a second licence for two additional computers. So, I should be able to run T3 on computers A & B, and T8 on computers B & C. ie. I should have the Print and GPS licences for 3 (or 4) different computers.

Absolutely. The software can in that case be used on up to 4 PC's (with printing, GPS connectivity etc), however the maps from each set on only up to 2 x PC's each. So you could have (for example):

PC # 1 with Software license 'a' and maps from NZ-T3
PC # 2 with Software license 'a' or 'b' and maps from NZ-T3 and NZ-T8
PC # 3 with Software license 'a' and maps from NZ-T8

In the above scenario you'd have one more software license left to burn but wouldn't be able to activate the maps as they're already in use on 2 x PC's each.

I hope that helps to clarify.
